Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker accepting new clients! I provide individual therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy getting to know my clients before diving into treatment options, so that we can tailor sessions together to meet your individual needs. I use approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, strengths-based methods, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, creative outlets, and compassion. The aim is to create an open and honest therapeutic relationship with my clients that will empower you to become your most authentic self. My passion as your therapist is to guide you through emotions you might have trouble feeling alone.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Art and Design from North Carolina State University and my Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University as well. My professional background includes working with clients in an inpatient setting, community mental health, and individual counseling. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, autism, substance use, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other disorders.

I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with social anxiety, conflict resolution, relationship struggles, self-harming behaviors, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, women’s issues, trauma, environmental stressors, and school issues. I value working with individuals from many different backgrounds, whether you’re a teenager struggling with friendships, a college student struggling with social anxiety, a young adult struggling to find your purpose, or a worried parent who needs guidance in communicating with their children!

I am looking forward to learning more about you and becoming a part of your journey!
