Tori Thompson

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been working with children, teens, and families for the past four years. I have my Bachelors Degree from Warner University and my Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee. I am originally from Ohio, but I have been a Raleigh resident for the past few years.

Prior to joining Simply Thrive, I provided intensive in-home services to families all over Wake County. I helped with increasing emotional regulation and emotional support in families from all backgrounds. I work with people who have experienced trauma and are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relational issues.

I am passionate about assisting individuals and families in better understanding themselves and each other while fostering healthy relationships. I utilize motivational interviewing, trauma-informed techniques, mindfulness, expressive arts, and am strengths-focused. I’m excited to start working with you!
