Utilizing support, effective coping strategies and hope for the future, my desire is to empower individuals, couples and families to overcome the roadblocks in their life. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping people of all walks of life rediscover the strengths they have within themselves and harness them in creating the life they want. Life is a difficult journey full of twists and turns, when approached alone it can be daunting. I believe in using therapy to help people draw upon the supports and resources in their lives.
If you feel you are stuck, grieving, hopeless or alone, I am here to help build strategies to address communication problems, create coping tools and untangle old patterns that just are not working anymore. I frequently work with teens, couples and individuals looking to develop new solutions to problems. Each individual interacts with environmental stressors in a unique way, making individualized care a priority for me as a therapist. Therapy is not one size fits all. I use a blended approach of Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused therapy to harness each individual’s strengths to help them address the stressors they are facing.
I have a degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Pfeiffer University. I have developed groups for Pfeiffer focused on social skills for teens and social anxiety, along with therapeutic experience with clients in private practice and community mental health.
My goal is to build relationships with my clients and support their personal growth. I look forward to meeting you and beginning your therapeutic journey.
