In my pursuit to serve people in their ability to cope in times of hardship, transitional periods, and problem-solving life’s many nuanced experiences, I found myself pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I attended Pfeiffer University where I was able to assist individuals, couples, and families to explore how their dynamic of engagement with self and others related to their most pressing issues. I also facilitated groups for anxiety management and received an additional certification in premarital counseling. I work from a collaborative therapeutic approach based on helping clients use their own strengths to create congruence in their lives. Because everyone is different I use a combination of Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and CBT to best assist my clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. It is important for you to know that I believe therapy should be a safe environment that allows you to feel comfortable enough to share yourself authentically.
Whether you’re entering therapy for the first time or have some experience with therapy I would be honored to support you in your therapeutic journey.
