Meet Kaitlyn Kincaid

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Kincaid and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A). I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from East Carolina University as well as my Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate. I additionally hold a bachelor’s degree from ECU in social work.

I specialize in working with kids, teenagers, and occasionally adults. I have experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, teens who have severe mental health disorders, and kids striving for normalcy. My experience covers personality disorders, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and ASD.

I utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques in my sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the use of mindfulness techniques, to customize them to each client’s particular needs.

My goal is to help clients and their loved ones feel secure during our sessions by providing mental health treatments in a welcoming and safe environment. Your comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I look forward to collaborating with you to help you become your best self.
