As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I practice from a general systems theory perspective. This means I believe each of my clients experience the world in a unique way, and I take into account the various systems that impact my clients’ lives on a daily basis. In therapy, I focus on client needs while paying attention to these larger systems in order to help create lasting change.

I graduated from Appalachian State University with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also received two certificates in Systemic Multicultural Counseling and Addictions Counseling. I have experience working with adults, families, and couples in community mental health and private practice settings. I have also led and co-led various therapeutic DBT groups for women who experienced trauma as well as individuals in recovery.

Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I focus on client strengths and inner resources to assist clients with achieving their goals. I am passionate about providing services to all populations within my scope of practice and aim to create a safe space for my clients to explore and grow in therapy. I look forward to working with you and starting your therapeutic journey together.
