Hello! My name is Carleigh and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Meredith College and my master’s degree in Social Work from NC State University. I am a warm, loving, self-aware, mindful, fun, and faith-filled person ready to help! I strive to be both a nurturing and direct therapist, displaying patience with the process of therapy and providing a safe and interactive relationship so that you feel comfortable to tackle difficult subjects, deep seated trauma, process your vulnerabilities, or to just say the things you never thought you would say out loud. While keeping your aspirations in mind, I hold you accountable for the change you desire and move with you on your path to achieving your goals.

While making sure to tailor my sessions to fit the unique needs of each client, my theoretical orientation is integrative and draws on multiple evidenced-based approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness training.

I really enjoy working with teens and young adults and have a therapeutic focus on life transitions, stress management, self-care, anxiety, mood disorders, interpersonal conflicts, and self-exploration.

Pull up a chair, a blanket, or let’s take a walk together and discover your values, goals, and what may be getting in the way of your desired outcomes. I look forward to meeting you!
