As a licensed clinical social worker, I have had the privilege of helping adults, adolescents, and families build the lives they envision.

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in social work from Columbia University in New York and I am licensed to practice in North Carolina. I began my career working in the addiction field in an outpatient program providing treatment for adolescents and adults with both substance use and mental health diagnoses. This experience led me to obtain a credential as a drug and alcohol counselor. I then worked as a therapist in private practice with children with anxiety disorders such as selective mutism. Before joining the Simply Thrive team, I worked as a therapist and supervisor in a community hospital-based outpatient mental health clinic. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I have worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders to help find healing. I also obtained a certificate in psychodynamic
psychotherapy to further enhance my work with adults.

I am passionate about helping individuals improve their lives and relationships by reducing internal and external challenges and by tapping into their inner strength. My approach will be catered to each person I work with. Some of the therapeutic models I utilize include: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Together we will unpack your stressors and reveal the impact of the past on your present. We will work together at a pace comfortable for you to resolve trauma and build the life and relationships you have been striving towards. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and I commend you for taking this brave step towards healing.
